Research Talks: Stigma in Stammering
Come to our webinar where'll be exploring the topic of stammering stigma.
This is the second of our 'STAMMA Research Talks' series, where we look at a different topic around stammering and what the research in that area tells us.
This hour-long Microsoft Teams webinar, on Monday 22nd April at 2pm, is all about stigma in stammering.
We'll explore:
- how stigma affects people who stammer
- how we can reduce that stigma to make the world a better place for people who stammer.
Our guest speaker will be Professor Michael Boyle from Montclair State University. Michael has a special interest in how both public and private stigma impact on the wellbeing of people who stammer, as well as how they get involved in society.
